Tara is committed to working and contributing through her performances to organizations and projects which support positive change with particular focus on Central Asia and the communities of the Central Asian diaspora. The vibrant cultures, art, history and hospitality that Central Asia is famous for are a great source of inspiration for Tara's artistic work and personal drive.
Tara has worked as worked as an outreach coordinator in the Persian, Afghan and South Asian Bay Area communities for women's advocacy through the non-profit organization Narika. Artistically, Tara has continually donated her time to non-profit organizations such as:
